Why does nature grow different types and kinds of food if the human body didn't require it at all?? Why should you then go on a carb free diet?? Instead, combine your carbs from cereals with the proteins from the pulses and dals to get a wholesome meal. The carbs give you enough energy for your body as well as daily activities, while the proteins give you the muscle strength and satiety to keep you full for longer. They help you control your sugary and fried food cravings. In India, most cuisines are based out of this scientific combination. The idlis and dosas, the khichdi, chilla, dal - rice, rajma Chawal, dal parathas, and the countless recipes that our grannies used to love... Why not switch back to those days? Why not switch to eating those traditional healthy recipes??
