Fitness Secrets (Part 2)

Let's continue asking ourself a few more fitness questions, and in case our Answer is negative, we can definitely take efforts to turn the minuses into pluses.
4. Do I eat fruits and vegetables during the entire day?
Fruits and vegetables (F&V) should form an important part of your daily foods. They give you all the important vitamins and minerals which actually contribute to your over all health. This is why vitamins and minerals are known as functional foods. They perform specific functions in the body and keep you away from small and big disorders and diseases.
It would become too much if I start to mention all the functions of all the vitamins and minerals and so I would keep that for future blogs. However, you may find traces of these functions in my earlier blogs.
5. Do I have different colors on my plate??
Each color in the food world represents a special micro nutrient, maybe an anti oxidant, a phytonutrient, or a special plant pigment which performs a specific function of its own.
Orange and yellow colors protect your eyes, green colors give you fibre, blue hydrates you, and purple colors protect you from cancer, and the rest...
Now make your foods appealing, add colors to your dishes and eat with your eyes. Not only will your nutrients make you fit, your happy and fresh frame of Mind add cheery to the cake!! Just try it once!!
6. Do I drink Atleast 2-3lt of water everyday?
None of us are unaware of the benefits of water and yet we are too lazy and ignorant about drinking it. There is no second choice. Consuming 2-3 lts of water Is an unavoidable part of your life. So pick a bottle, fill it, and drink it!!
Do you just forget to drink water amidst all the work?? No worries
There are various ways to remind yourself..
✔ there are plenty water reminder apps these days. So just download the most rated app and get started 
✔ if your phone does not have enough space for more apps, just set alarms for every 40 - 60mins and name it "drink water".. You are sorted.
✔ make companions. Ask your neighbor to remind you to drink water every hour. And you remember to return the favour. Remind each other whenever one drinks water.
✔ write on post it slips and stick it on the corner of your desktop / monitor. You will be reminded to drink water each time you look at it.
✔I'm sure you don't forget to look at your phones each hour, or after every half hour. Be it work, or entertainment, you do look at your phone. So just make it a gradual habit to look at the phone and check your notifications only after you have drunk water.
